Hard pounding Brutus B subs feature incredible bass performance and power handling with nickel-plated high flux-return ported back plates capping massive 100-oz. magnets. Engineered to handle extreme levels of mechanical and thermal stresses, Hifonics’® Brutus B subwoofers utilize heat-dissipating black stamped frames to hold together the high power magnets and new ultra-rigid polypropylene cones.
Brutus B subs are available in dual 2-Ohm and dual 4-Ohm configurations offering the utmost flexibility. They are ideal for ported or sealed enclosures depending on the desire for crazy lows or accurate tight bass. The new blue stitched surround completes a great look.

Square vs. Round
Square designs offer more cone area for moving air for higher SPL. They are ideal when space becomes a challenge in the confines of a car – something Hifonics refers to as, “More Bass in Less Space.” Square Brutus subwoofers utilize Hifonics’ unique rubber surround design, which addresses the non-linear cone behavior of a square coned low-frequency bass driver. The special ribs formed into the rubber surround at the corners prevent the surround from bending or folding while the cone travels up and down, adding improved sound quality. |
